- RMROBIN MADISONNov 17, 20211.0If you are a minority in this county don't bother to solicit help from this branch unless you are willing to jump through hoops like a trick pony. They pick and choose who they will help. During the pandemic when funds were distributed for housing rental assistance they opted to help my neighbor pay their mortgage and refused to assist my friend with rent which was the purpose of the funding. My neighbor lives in a beautiful home with lots of gadgets he could have sold and required to do so but that wasn't the case.. But They required her to sign up for welfare and if she was denied then they would help her. She was ok because she ended up getting help from her church but double standards still applied when it came to UCAP helping those who need it vs who they choose
