My father-in-law was here twice for transitional care coming out of the hospital. We were happy with the care he received. I did not think he would come home, but the physical therapy staff worked with him. He really wanted to come back home and worked hard and he did. We now have a 90 year old pastor friend living in the apartments. Before covid he ate in the community lunchroom. Now they bring the meals up to him. He says they treat him very well. Thanks for the care. Steve

For the past three years, I have been disabled and dependent on a wheelchair to get around. In early May, I ended up falling down and was hospitalized for a week. I found out that I had a severe infection with sepsis that caused my kidneys to begin shutting down. I was actually in intensive care for two days. After my kidney function returned to normal, I was able to return to a regular room and finished out the week at the hospital without any further difficulties. After my discharge from the hospital, I was sent to Maranatha for physical and occupational therapy. In early July, my progress had plateaued so the insurance company would no longer cover the physical therapy. After three weeks, my nurse here noticed that my condition was regressing and She hounded the insurance company to get them to approve additional therapy. Before the additional therapy started, I thought I would always be in some sort of assisted living facility. However, after just one week of PT I mastered the use of a slide board to transfer from the bed to the wheelchair and vice versa. About a week after this, I was notified by the folks here that if I could do a slide board here there's no reason why I couldn't do a slide board at home! Needless to say my wife and I were overjoyed. We went from facing thousands of dollars a month for assisted living care and certain bankruptcy within 10 years, to a virtual return to normalcy. I'll never be able to thank the folks at Maranatha for all that they did for me. A special shout-out to Jackie Colesworthy and Amanda Kelly for the many ways they went to bat for me. Without their diligent pursuit of my care, I'm convinced things would've ended so much differently. I highly recommend Maranatgha for you or your loved ones to consider for any form of long-term care.

You have given my dad a proud place to live. Given him dignity and the want to fight for life. A quality I don't think he thought that was for others, and he was content with that. My dad has such a humble soul and always new there are much less fortunate. Thank you so very much for not just giving him a wonderful place to reside with comfortable staff, but becoming his family as well. I thank you with all my heart that I know my dad has had agree at deal to do with. With much thanks, Julie (mouse) Hostetler. Daddy's little girl.
