My experience with this church, are mixed in review... I recently requested that a couple of missionaries come to my home, in order to have communion one with another; to have a meeting of the minds and discuss broader concepts. They scheduled to see me Wednesday, and stood me up. Then rescheduled for Thursday. They did not show up at the time agreed to. I have been home all day waiting. When I contacted them, they lied bald faced, saying that they were here but nobody answered. When I called them on their lie, they agreed to come by five fifteen... Two men came. One was tall, from Nevada, who desires to return to the rodeo circuit; and the other was short from Utah, who longed to see the plains and mountains of Utah again... The tall one was overbearing, took charge of the conversation and was pompously proud of his self agrandized "superiority" in his knowledge of all things religious, bragging about his superiority over his fellow students whom he left behind. The short one was reserved, quiet, unforthcoming and seemed scared of the tall one, timidly bowing in submission. The first part of the meeting went well, as all I did was listen to their stories and hear of their faith... When it became my turn to share however, I began to share my knowledge in regards to the American Indian histories and wished to discuss how American Indians fit into their story... It was at this point that the tall one became very angry... He became accusatory, antagonistic, domineering and started making false statements about his own conclusions as to what my purpose was; by angrily presenting two options from his own mind and demanding that I confirm one of them to be true, though both were patently false. When I protested his bearing false witness against me, he became even more domineering to the point where I sincerely believe he was going to physically assault me, presenting again two more false options and demanding that I confirm one is true... At this point I suggested that he just go back home, if he couldn't hold a civilized adult conversation; to which both took their leave; admitting that they could not be anything but antagonistic and threatening. I am very concerned about this matter... Please send the tall one back to his parents; and separate him from the short one who seems deathly afraid of him for some unknown reason... Though I could hazard a guess. Seems that I have my answer... The only place American Indians fit into their story is a punching bag.
