I was very impressed when I started looking to move my mom from assisted-living to memory care. I liked that this place was smaller where she would get more personal care. The staff seemed very friendly and the price was very good compared to other places. When we visited my mom‘s doctor for the pre-check, he stated that he had a relative that stayed there for a couple years and absolutely loved it with no complaints whatsoever. He mentioned the staff was very nice. Later in that appointment, his nurse ended up saying the same thing that her father-in-law was there for a couple of years and gave it high marks.
I have already recommended it to my neighbor who is looking for a place for her mother.

Majority of staff is unhelpful. Elderly resident with severe tremors was eating chicken noodle soup with a fork and took her over 40 minutes to try and eat it--not one staff member offered to help her. Residents get bologna sandwiches on white bread for evening meal frequently. 3 of mom's expensive clothing items were taken within first month of her moving there and Executive Director promised to call me back two weeks ago about this (and other things) and still have not heard from her. Other residents wander into my mom's room while she is trying to sleep which greatly upsets her. The bathtub the residents use is dirty. Would never recommend this facility.
