- HGHeidi GuildsMar 22, 20255.0Both my parents were in Brookdale for 2 1/2 years. At first, my dad asked me if they were at a resort.(so cute) Dementia is such a hard, sad, painful and long disease. I could make this a very long post with all the stories however since they have both recently passed I will leave this: Brookdale is clean first and foremost. They took the best care of my parents and they were safe. They loved my mom and dad and my parents loved them. In the end, i was completely satisfied with their professionalism, commitment to care and love for my parents and our family. The caregivers are angels 💜
