Everyone is very welcoming! During my tour with the director Ms. Ryan, she answered all of my questions and made the process enrolling my daughter easy and was very responsive in email communications. Ms. Courtney is also wonderful greeting parents in and having interaction talks with kids. I like their sign in and sign out process and how they have a second locked door for safety.
My daughter is in the preschool 1 class whose teachers are Ms. Alex and Ms. Joselin, they are amazing and caring ! ☺️ They give me updates on my daughter and the things she is working on. My daughter loves her daycare she actually gets excited when she sees her school as we pull up in the mornings.

Best daycare in Waldorf, hands down. My toddler doesn't take well to new environments but the pre-toddler, toddler, and get set teachers have been very patient and consistent with her. She's a completely different child now and looks forward to going to school. Shout out to Ms. Danielle, Ms. Vanessa, Ms. Kylin, and Ms. Diamond! My son also attends and I'm very grateful for the transition process from preschool to pre-k. The staff is very attentive and puts in a lot of effort to make sure each child is comfortable. Not only are they caring, but the curriculum alone is exceptional.

We have been a part of The Goddard School since my daughter was a toddler, and later enrolled our newborn as well. From day one, our experience has been nothing but positive. Our children are cared for by the most dedicated teachers, and it’s been a joy to watch them grow and thrive in this program.
My son was never much of a talker, but thanks to his wonderful teachers, Ms. Diamond and Ms. Ania, he now loves to talk and sing songs nonstop. He has learned so much in their class, and we are so grateful for their care and guidance.
My daughter has also been blessed with amazing teachers who understood her shyness and patiently helped her feel more comfortable and confident around new friends. Thank you, Ms. Cynatra and Ms. Keona, for the kindness and encouragement you’ve shown her.
We are truly thankful for all of the teachers and staff who make The Goddard School such a nurturing and supportive place for our children.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
