I have had children at this Goddard school for the past 3 years. My middle daughter attended for a year in the Zebras classroom which did a wonderful job of helping her with kindergarten readiness as well as supporting her social development. Even two years later, she is still talking about her friends from preschool!
Now my youngest has been attending since she was 5 months old (she is now nearly 2 years old). I was a bit nervous about her attending a larger childcare facility since I used alternative childcare arrangements for my older daughters, but I have been very pleased with the care my youngest has received through 3 different classrooms at Goddard. She has grown very close to her teachers and fellow students, and I love the stimulating environment that she is in.
One of the owners, John Pellicano, was one of the first people I met in Urbana when we were trying to decide where to send our daughter for preschool. John immediately impressed me with his thoughtful responses and the time he took to answer all of my questions by phone since we could not visit the school before making our decision. This has been a great choice for our family, and I am grateful for this wonderful school for my daughters' early years.

My 3 children received exceptional care while at the Goddard School of Urbana and grew leaps and bounds as a result.
All of their individual needs were met and my children enjoyed going to their classes where teachers fostered healthy friendships between classmates.
Most recently, I enrolled my infant daughter who was born premature and required a strict feeding schedule, physical therapy, and other specialized needs. The infant classroom teachers (Amy & Laura) couldn’t have been more phenomenal or invested in her health and growth. I truly do not believe my daughter would be where she is today without their love and care.
Overall, the school is well maintained, clean, colorful, warm, and inviting. The teachers are clearly invested in the student’s well being and learning development, and I never once worried about my little one’s safety.
