- AOAdoption OptionOct 23, 20255.0Brookdale Potomac is a positive environment for your aging parent. Those in charge are responsive and your loved one is treated well. The environment is pleasant. Parking is very easy and there are nearby shops to take your loved one to (i.e., Starbucks, Baskin Robbins, simple restaurants). The cost is still challenging for limited financial resources with long-term stays, but it seems to be less expensive than other options in the area. We also had experience at Brookdale Olney. We did like that property better as it was just more modern, more open and inviting as it was newer, but it was also a bit more expensive than Brookdale Potomac. We have been happy with the services received by our parent at Brookdale Potomac.

The rooms & common areas are spacious, warm & inviting. The staff are extremely professional & caring. And the cost is below many comparable assisted living & memory care places in our area. I highly recommend Brookdale Potomac to anyone looking for themselves or their loved ones.

We definitely chose the right environment for my mother in Claire Bridge care at Brookdale Potomac. Staff are always thoughtful and kind, keep us informed, and respond quickly to any questions. This is a warm and friendly place… feels like a home instead of an institution.

Now in her second year as a resident at Brookdale Potomac, it was after placement in CBP that she reclaimed her outgoing nature; openly associating with other residents and engaging in many social activities. She appears at peace and so much happier. My family is most appreciative and grateful for the level of diligent care, concern and respect she receives from Yvette Bravo and her staff!
