I would rate The Goddard School a 10 out of 10! Ever since my son started attending, he has become much more social with other children and enjoys participating in class activities. The teachers and staff are incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive. They always go above and beyond to help and find solutions whenever needed.
I really appreciate how patient they are with children who are potty training and how well they communicate with parents. Communication is very important to me, and the staff always keeps me informed about my son’s day and progress.
My son is 3 years old and is always happy and excited to go to school in the mornings. A special thank-you to Katherine — she has been absolutely wonderful!

We’ve had a wonderful experience at the daycare overall. The administrative staff is always very responsive and helpful, and the teachers are friendly and caring. I really appreciate receiving the daily pictures, it’s such a thoughtful way to stay connected to my daughter’s day.
The security protocols and building access system are excellent and give me great peace of mind. The facility is well-organized and never feels crowded. I also love the large playground, with two separate areas that accommodate different age groups.
Thank you for all the care you provide and for creating such a positive and safe environment for our children.

We had an excellent experience with Goddard North Bethesda. The school is extremely organized with much lower teacher turnover than our previous preschool. All of the teachers and staff were loving and supportive; it was such a relief to know my child was safe every day. My son also learned so much, both academically and socially. We will miss this dear school but because of them my son is well-prepared for Kindergarten.

I truly cannot sing enough praises of this school. We started my daughter during the summer session after taking a tour of the facility. Since this is the first school we've sent her to, I have nothing to really compare it to but the care and attention given to my daughter is unmatched. At a 3:1 student to teacher ratio, I feel like she's well taken care of.
The staff, from the owner to the front desk to the actual teachers, are phenomenal and so personable. They truly care so much for each child and really root for their growth. I have no doubt that my daughter is in the best of hands here!

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
