- CCCannama2 days ago5.0My father has been a resident at Brookdale Woodward since the summer of 2025 after an injury prevented him from living independently. I can say, unequivocally, that it Brookdale is a hidden gem in the truest sense of the term. From the minute we made our initial contact with Kasja, we knew we stumbled upon something special. My father is 90 and this is the happiest I’ve ever seen him in my whole life. He has told me many times that he sees EVERYONE, from the staff to the residents, as his family - and when we visit him, it is evident that they feel exactly the same way about him. Brookdale employs some of the most dedicated, kindest and professional staff in the industry (I can say this confidently as someone who went through this process some years ago with my late mother). They have a fantastic daily activity schedule and they regularly book trips to places such as restaurants and casinos. I can’t forget to mention that he loves the food they serve, too. The crazy part is it that Brookdale also one of the most reasonably priced assisted living centers in the area (from our extensive research). We simply feel blessed & grateful to have found this place for my dad.

I had a short turn around time in getting my dad moved from his current facility to another and the team moved quickly. They have been extremely caring and helpful through this process.
