Halloween/Fall Festival
This was by far the best Church party I've attended in the 10 years in this location.
The decorations were outstanding without being too scary for the little ones. There was the annual chili cook-off repleat with cornbread, Macaroni and cheese and various other edibles.
For the children, there was a bean bag toss, fit the witch hat in the hole, a bubble machine and a treat table sculptured worthy of Willy Wonka. The bigger kids got to carve little pumpkins. The children and the adults participated in a costume contest with multiple winners.
Finally, the floor was cleared for the dance contest. And such enthusiastic dancers we had. From tango to salsa; reggae to techno; country to rock & roll, each round we lost a couple until the winners were found.
Old friends chatted together, made new friends and more friends and a blast was had by all.
