At The Goddard School located in Reading, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
My son (4) and daughter (3) have been going to the Goddard School in Reading since they were 6 months old, and I can’t emphasize enough how great a school, community and family this center is. You can really get a sense of the connections that the teachers built with them, and both my children thrived and truly grew over the years. One thing that stands out is that Goddard is a bit smaller, so most of the teachers and staff knew both my children and always had a smile on their faces for them. While we recently moved and needed to change daycare centers, I will always highly recommend Goddard!

Our daughter attended Goddard for 2 years. We were on the waitlist for almost 2 years and it was definitely worth the wait. The facility is very clean, the teachers are wonderful and so is the staff. The teachers really care for the kids. The owner, Sarah is wonderful and a great mix of showing love but also ensuring discipline. We had a great time and are thankful for the wonderful time we had.

We were incredibly fortunate to have our two kids spend four wonderful years at The Goddard School of Reading. From the very beginning, it felt like a second home—safe, welcoming and full of love.
The teachers and administration are truly exceptional: caring, attentive and deeply dedicated to each child’s growth. We experienced this across every stage, from the infant room to Pre-K. They helped us through difficult transitions, listened intently when our kids had something to share, and greeted us with big smiles each day. They not only nurtured our boys with kindness and compassion, but also helped them develop the foundational skills and confidence they needed to thrive in kindergarten and beyond. Communication with us was consistent and thoughtful—we always felt informed and included in our children’s education.
One tradition our family especially loved was the annual apple pie making before Thanksgiving. It was such a memorable activity and the pies were always a hit!
It’s hard to put into words how much this school has meant to our family. Knowing our children were in such capable, loving hands gave us peace of mind every single day. We are so grateful to the entire team for creating such a special, enriching space for young children to learn and grow. We'll really miss our Goddard family and cannot recommend this school enough!

Our son Mason attended the Goddard school in Reading for three wonderful years, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. He made so many great friends and built special bonds with his teachers, who have been caring, supportive, and truly invested in his growth. The program has prepared him so well for kindergarten this fall, and we feel confident he’s ready for the next step. We’re so grateful for the loving environment and strong foundation he’s received here—highly recommend the Goddard in Reading to any family!

Our son Kaikai has grown and learned so much there—it’s amazing to see his big progress. We’re grateful for the wonderful environment the staff creates and are excited for our daughter to join next year too!

In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them.
