- JBJuergen BlankOct 13, 20255.0The building’s design is very pleasant from the outside as well as offers 4 floors which allow wide hallways which lead to comfortably sized apartments with oversized windows. All of which is easily accessible by oversized elevators allowing multiple residents to travel with their walkers & wheelchairs. The dining rooms offer a large number of tables for several residents to enjoy 1st class menus over lunch & dinners. On special occasions the table clothes & napkins are of a festive white. The residents were able to establish friendships quickly with an equally friendly & helpful staff in support of the residents different needs. There are several social events scheduled during the months. In summary the Kaplan Estates are very unique in many aspects. Juergen Blank one time resident.
- BRBette RiceApr 27, 20245.0My mother was introduced to Kaplan estates after a rehab stay and the neighboring Brudnick Center. These facilities are in the same complex, beautifully situated and work together very well. When it was time to consider AL, we met with Andrea Hillel, the director at Kaplan who was instrumental in choosing Kaplan for my mother. Andrea was knowledgeable, compassionate, and very prepared to help with every stage of transition and accommodation. The Kaplan experience was great for my mother, she was a long-term resident and truly enjoyed the community, the warm staff and support and especially liked the musical activities, travel and arts related workshops and presentations. I highly would recommend Kaplan Estates without reservation, for anyone considering assisted living for their family.

As her mobility and health was declining the staff increased the aid they provided and kept us informed of her condition. They provided warm and compassionate care. She was on a puréed diet due to health issues yet she told us that the food tasted great! She now needs skilled nursing care but we will always be grateful to the staff at Kaplan for helping her stay as individual as possible for as long as possible.
