At The Goddard School located in Middleton, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
The Goddard School of Middleton not only offers a rich and engaging curriculum in a safe, nurturing environment but also stands out for its exceptional staff. The administrators and teachers are genuinely caring, attentive, and dedicated to helping each child grow with love, while also supporting parents along the way. It’s clear that they love what they do, and that makes all the difference.
My son started at The Goddard School when he was two and a half, and the transition was difficult for him at first. He cried during drop-offs for a while, as he’s always been very attached to me. But his teachers in the First Steps classroom, along with the administrators, showed endless patience, compassion, and care. They embraced him with kindness and respect, helping him feel secure until he adjusted to his new environment. I only had the strength to leave him each morning because I knew he was cared for with genuine love and understanding.
They offer great hours for working parents, with pickup available until 6 p.m.—something that truly helps families balance work and home life. The facility feels very safe and well-managed; there is no way to access the building without permission from the administrators or authorization through their secure app, which gives me peace of mind every day.
The school also provides an excellent curriculum filled with enriching activities that support children’s development in fun and meaningful ways. One of my favorite features is their communication app, where parents can see daily updates about their child’s activities, understand the developmental goals behind them, and enjoy photos of their child learning and playing—it’s such a wonderful way to stay connected even while at work.
The staff is wonderfully multicultural, with teachers and administrators from different parts of the world. As an immigrant parent, that diversity makes me feel even more comfortable, accepted, and connected to the community. It’s a beautiful reflection of the welcoming environment the school creates for every family.
I couldn’t recommend The Goddard School of Middleton more highly—it truly feels like a second home for our family. A special thank you to Ali, Norah, Brittney, Miss Victoria, and Miss Hasna for your dedication and for being part of my son’s journey.

Super friendly staff, everyone know my kid name, so that kids feel home and happy to go. Only aspect, maybe a bit more attention to cleaning details for infant could be added.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
What types of qualifications do Goddard School teachers and caregivers have?

To ensure the health and safety of everyone, if an outbreak occurs and a child has not been vaccinated, they will be asked to stay at home.
