I want to name the special nurse Kelly, caregivers, Solomar, Shawnie, Ellen, Dana and everyone for keeping me comfortable and cared for. I will miss you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are all so special. ❤️
- MGMary GreeleyJun 27, 20245.0We think we hit the “jackpot of nursing homes” when our mother was accepted at the Leavitt Family Jewish Nursing Home of Western Massachusetts. Mom has been a resident for a little over two years and will celebrate her 100th birthday in September. Mom’s heart condition has been stabilized with the coordination of the nursing home physician and Mom’s Cardiologist. She has been able to avoid any hospital visits during her time at the nursing home. Mom has developed a number of close relationships with her direct caregivers at the nursing home and even refers to one as “another daughter” and the closeness with many others is quite apparent. The staff at the nursing home has worked with us to integrate some of Mom’s personal décor from her home to make it feel very much like home. The communication with the medical team and administration has been very open, responsive, and appreciative of our input. The activities and beautiful campus have allowed for friendships and involvement with other residents. We are so grateful to have this “gem” of a nursing home right in our home town and we highly recommend it to others looking for a safe and caring community with very professional medical care for their loved one.
