- MHMichael HuddyJan 29, 20255.0My mother moved into Cohen Florence Levine Estates very recently and it was one of the best decisions we ever made. While it was an adjustment, she knew the time would come and circumstances made us reach out and get on the waiting list. We visited twice and the staff were very friendly. Moving time was hectic but we were well supported by their team (shoutout to Jen for being a great resource throughout the whole experience). My mother is settling in nicely and learning to adjust to life in a community. The biggest change she observed was that naturally some things were more regimented (meals, showers, etc.) but that is understandable. The facility itself is very nice and everyone has been welcoming. There are many (optional) activities and meals are varied (the food is all kosher but there are also a number of alternative meal options available). Her apartment is a studio but it's plenty big for all her needs, and there are several common areas that residents can use. Not only is she close by, but I am confident she is getting the assistance she needs to make her life comfortable. She benefits from the services provided, certainly, but to a greater extent the biggest benefit is being part of the community. She loves to interact with people and so this has been a positive change for multiple reasons, including giving me greater peace of mind.
