- DBDebbie BlakerJan 31, 20235.0I can’t say enough good things about the Home of the Flint Hills in Silver Lake. From the first time I took a tour until now they have been wonderful. The facility is newer and very well kept. I have never seen anything dirty or needing attention. The staff is very attentive to all the residents and visitors. Anything I have asked for, they have provided or gave me acceptable alternative solutions. The meals are prepared fresh on-site and tailored to the individual’s preferences. They have two sunrooms, a doctor that will come to the facility, and everything is handicap accessible. I make many unscheduled visits a week so I feel confident that what I am seeing is really a true reflection of the day to day operations. I would highly recommend this facility. It is only 6 miles from Topeka and it is a very peaceful serene setting.
