  Neglected my mom, my mom developed bed sores. It was during Covid, we could only visit her through the window. I would drop food off for her and then watch her press the button and no one would drop her off her food for over an hour .

  Care of Mom, 93 years old, was very good at the facility. I am giving only a 2 star rating due to failure of discharge process and no vaccines she signed up to get. Meds and home healthcare was supposed to be setup for when we got her home, 110 miles away. NOTHING WAS SETUP. I have spent the last 2 days trying to get what she needs for her home. Someone is not doing their job!!!! Very frustrating and unprofessional,as I live in OP and Mom lives in SEKS. I needed the setups completed as I can only be off this week to help with getting things straightened out. Now we are at Thursday and still no home health setup. I go back to work on Monday!!! In addition she was supposed to get her COVID and RSV shots. She signed paperwork to get them and never did! Again someone dropped the ball here.

  If you really care for your loved ones do not use this facility. There is a reason this is the only place with a bed available. The treatment of my 91 year old mother was horrible and it led to us pulling her out early and with very little notice. Problems that I visibly seen when visiting were the following. 20 minute room call times, fecies & blood all over the bathroom. Soiled underpants, pants & socks. Filthy wheel chair. I found my mother in a wheelchair soiled in urine crying without a call button within reach. Sitting in front of a blank television and that was the last straw. These are the things that happened with our family present, so you can imagine what happens when you’re not.

  Omg I don't even have to read the reviews I just left there stayed there for about 6 days first day I got there it smelled funny I don't mean haha funny I mean weird funny.... But let's ignore the smell and get me healed up so I can be a normal person and a wheelchair if that made sense...... I got there on the weekend once I was dropped off at night I realized there may be trouble amiss from that day on the staff always huffing and puffing giving the excuse they are understaffed and overworked that was the THEME and I was sad to hear that cuz that meant my low level problem will be a high level problem for ME because there were people with higher problems I'm sure here at Brookdale.... By the time I got my food it was cold OR it was the wrong order. when I hit the button no matter what time or day it was 30 minutes to an hour LATE oh but sure STAFF they were super nice though but again huffing and puffing giving an excuse why they were so late and very apologetic..... The floor stay dirty never clean even my family had to bring cleaning supplies for the floor and the bathroom they even had to bring sheets and chucks because they ran out one night and simply had to use bed sheets when I had about movement or urinated on myself and of course I laid in it for 30 minutes to an hour which is really too long to be laying in your own stool with wounds in that same area ....... and the straw that broke the camel's back..... THE BIG STRAW THAT BROKE THE CAMEL'S BACK Rita my caseworker case manager was on the phone with me as I was telling her I would like to be discharged in a couple of days because I just can't handle the mistreatment and lack of food prep and the smell and the dirt and the excuses..... It was a 10-second conversation I thought I hung up my phone but I didn't she thought she hung up her phone but she did not.,... So she was on speakerphone myself my mother my niece and my girlfriend overheard her talking very disparagingly about me very negatively about me in such a way are jaws dropped for the entirety of the 30secs of overhearing RITA , I'm trying to get help from the person who is supposed to be advocating for me is talking negatively about me is talking discouragingly about ME..... SO I CALLED 911 AND HAD TO LEAVE THEIR IMMEDIATELY THAT DAY....
