  I am so impressed with how happy the residents are there every time I come for bible stories. I am also very impressed with how wonderful Pamela, Amber and Carolyn are doing activities with them. You can sure tell how much they love the residents because of their caring attitude toward them when we are there for bible stories and to see what activities they have planned. They are a wonderful example of kindness and caring for the older ones.

  Brookdale College Square has been a wonderful place for my dad. Choosing a higher level of care has been difficult and the staff here has made it a lot easier. Andrea and Amanda in administration have been amazing and very accommodating. Nate goes out of his way to care for my dad and make sure that he is loved and cared for. One of the best things about Brookdale College Square is the activities. I was very concerned that he would be bored and not have a lot of interaction. The activity director, Pam, and Amber go to great lengths to make sure that all of the residents have engaging, thought-provoking activities and they treat them with such great respect. I don't worry so much about my dad knowing that he is in such a great community.

  During the last three years we have struggled to find the perfect place for our father to live. We started in an assisted living facility where he received another residents medication. He ended up in the hospital and it took a few weeks to get him back on track. We moved him to another facility where he struggled to thrive because he was beyond their scope of care. While at that facility he ended up in a psychiatric unit twice for "behavior" issues. He then fell and broke his hip. After 45 days in a rehab facility we were told we had three days to find a permanent facility for him. With the help of Care Patrol, a placement organization, we were introduced to Brookdale College Square. The minute we stepped foot in the door we were very impressed. The entire staff was amazing. They did their assessment of daddy and determined they could care for him. Because we were on a short time for moving they were unbelievably accommodating. The staff at Brookdale arranged everything for daddy's transfer to the facility. The love and care our father receives has allowed us to be less stressed about his care. We do not lay awake and night worrying and wondering if the phone is going to ring and we have an issue with daddy. Since our father moved into Brookdale June of 2016 we have yet to visit and find him in his room. The medical staff has been able to get him off all of the medications he was prescribed for his "behaviors" and daddy is like a new man. He participates in activities and loves the staff. Daddy seems very content with his living conditions, because he can't always verbalize his feelings, we feel confident that he is receiving excellent care. I would highly recommend this facility to any family wanting a place for their loved one to live that feels like home. Brookdale College Square is an outstanding place full of outstanding people who truly love what they do!
