At The Goddard School located in Olathe (Northwest), we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
We recently switched to The Goddard School and have absolutely loved it! The staff has been very welcoming and have worked to establish connections with our kids. And our kids have been noticeably enjoying their time at Goddard. We love the fact that the owner is on-site and the professionalism we have witness from the entire staff. We highly recommend Goddard!

We love this school! I’m fortunate to work in several childcare/preschool centers around the area, giving me an insider’s look. When we found out we were expecting our daughter, it was a no brainer that this was the school I wanted her to attend!
Over the last few years major things I have noted is that teacher retention is high (big one), Pre-K curriculum is outstanding, high level of communication with parents & teachers, involved administration, behavioral support, & collaboration with parents to continually improve the school as a whole.
Since my daughter has started, I’ve found it very easy to build relationships with her teachers and work together to best support her growth & development. The teachers are team players, floating between classrooms when needed. Because of this, everyone knows my daughter’s name & fosters smooth transitions when she moves to the next classroom. She learns so much when she’s at school & she’s not even 2 yet!
Couldn’t recommend The Goddard School - Olathe Northwest more!

We have had our children at Goddard for 5 years. Always recommend it. The teachers and staff are 10/10. You won't find another daycare with staff and teachers as educated, caring, and passionate about their jobs as Goddard. In the 5 years I have been there I have NEVER had an issue and have only had a positive experience. The ownership is amazing and they find the best staff/teachers. I'll be sad when it is our time to move on.

My child has been attending Goddard for a few years now and it has become a safe place for him that he loves to go to. He loves learning and he has received so much support and care from his teachers throughout the years. The school is very prompt with communication and I know I can discuss anything I need to with them and they are ready and willing to help my child succeed. It’s a great school that continues to show they truly care about the children, parents and employees.

We just hit the year mark with our Goddard fam and could be more happy with our choice to trust our kids with their team. Our daughter absolutely loves the staff and her friends and we love (most of the time ;-)) how amazing it is to hear her sing in Spanish at home. We have Goddard to thank for her growing knowledge and love for them. Can’t wait for our son to start next month! Highly recommend!

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
