  I have had years of experience dealing with long term care facilities and, although by far the most expensive, Concordia is the only one in the Springfield area that I trust to put my wife in.

  Our parents moved into Concordia 16 years ago. They enjoyed having an exercise room, hair salon, activities and special entertainment. The dining room offering delicious food and several special buffets throughout the year. Mom had some health issues requiring her to go to the REACH unit. Mom received wonderful care until her death a few weeks later. Dad was able to downsize to another apartment and lived there until 3 months ago when he had health issues requiring him to go to the REACH unit. Dad received wonderful care until his death recently. The staff at Concordia during the 16 years have been very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and became "family". Thank-you for the wonderful years during the time our parents lived independently and for the great care given at the end of their lives. What a blessing to them and us.   My wife regularly takes her therapy dog to hang out with the residents. Concordia is THE best. So kind, clean, well run. 5 Stars. 🌟

  Wonderful experience, Everytime I'm there for lunch. The wait staff is very accommodating, kind, fast and courteous. If I could tip them, I would. They definitely need to give them a raise, schools aren't cheap around here. Anyway, 5 stars all around!

  I love living at Concordia Village. It has so many advantages to still having a busy life style. I don't have to clean or cook if I don't want to. I have exercise classes available at different times so if I miss one I can usually catch another one. I have gone to the movie theater which shows a variety of films. Haven't tried the pool yet but it is on my list. As for the food, I rate it quite good, of course, you don't always enjoy all of the menu all of the time, but there are lots of choices. The staff is extremely helpful and the residents are friendly and openly encourage friendships. I live in a patio home so I still have a full laundry room and garage. It is absolutely perfect. Not having to worry about taking care of a house anymore is also important and everything is provided for you here. I moved here because my husband was ill and I was not sure what we would need medically , but because they have assisted living as well as the care center, I knew all my needs would be in the same place. It was definitely peace of mind for both of us. Thanks - Sharon Snyder
