My son began at Mary Sears in the infant room. The teachers were great and patient when I would come and visit. It wasn't until he moved into room 2 when issues began. The teachers when he began in room 2 were wonderful! Unfortunately, the turnover rate was high therefore not really consistent. With lack of curriculum made things a bit difficult. The reasons why I took my lil one out was because communication got worse and worse. If parents were to call in, Mr. John would not allow the parents to speak with the teachers directly and a lot of information was missed or misconstrued when told to me. The one incident that put the nail in the coffin for me was I had picked my son up one day and when I got home I realized one side of his lip was discolored. I thought it was food or marker and when I went to wipe it he jumped. After looking harder it was a busted lip and he had a knot on his head. When I called, NO ONE knew what happened. I understand falls, scrapes, bruises etc happen, however the teachers was giving me one story and Mr John was giving me another. I asked to view the tapes. When Mr. John got back to me, 2 days later, he had viewed the wrong day. By the time it was time for me to watch the tapes the incident was "recorded over" because the tapes can only record so much and they did not know that. They were apologetic, which I appreciate but things just wasn't adding up. It was then that I knew after a yr and a half it was time to go. The teachers are wonderful even though they are overworked and underappreciated. I am thankful for the time spent at Mary Sears and the teachers that were there, however I am extremely happy with where he is at now. It is a little bit more but it is completely worth it!

Since my daughter started going in the fall 2017, she had improved a lot with being social with others. I am glad that Mary Sears touch base on basic learning essentials for the children. My daughter had a hard time with writing but ever since she started with Mary Sears her handwriting improved drastically!! Thank you Mary Sears for your services!
