Lighthouse Academy is a premier early childhood education center providing care and education to children from six weeks old through Kindergarten and summer camp for all ages.
Our programs are highly academic and comprehensive. We focus on the development of each child intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically. Our highly trained and certified teachers provide an important balance between loving and nurturing your children and educating them, using the specific interests of each child in conjunction with a formal structured curriculum. Lessons are taught using a variety of different subjects including literacy, art, music, dramatic play, math, science and nature.

They treat the kids great, keep the parents in the know on all things happening in the classroom, and have fun parties every quarter to get families and teachers together. I wouldn’t send my kid anywhere else in the area! Thank you to Jen, Jessica, Erika, Sabrina, Carly, and all of the teachers for being so great!

Was worried he would be too shy to go, but he’s loved it! Helped him with speaking, writing, and potty training. The pictures and statues they upload through out the day help assure us he is having a blast. Love the candid shots they send us!

The facility is beautiful—brand new construction, always clean, and even has a full basement where the kids can run and play on days when the weather doesn’t cooperate. The staff is friendly, attentive, and truly cares about both the children and the parents. They make sure every child is learning and growing at the right pace and work closely with families to keep things consistent at home. Communication is excellent—they’re proactive, responsive to any concerns, and always handle things professionally. The tuition is also very reasonable compared to other centers in the Hampshire/Huntley area. We absolutely recommend Lighthouse to any parents looking for a safe, caring, and well-run daycare!

We heard about lighthouse from a friend whose kids go here and decided to meet them and see the facility. After meeting Jen, we realized how awesome, and on top of things she is! When we toured we met Jessica, and we immediately felt like this was the place for our daughter. Now, 6 months later, we are so happy to have our child attend here at lighthouse. They are very attentive, great at communication, and we know she is very happy! Shootout again to Jessica, our daughter’s teacher who is the absolute best! THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!!! We also are grateful to the other teachers who spend time with our daughter also! Erica, Sabrina, & Emmy are all so great with her, and we really appreciate everything they do!

We started with them shortly after they opened in January of 2025 and could not be happier with the care and support our daughters have both received. Every teacher is so easy to talk to and supportive and truly works with parents to meet each child's needs. They treat your children like family and have also encouraged me as a mom - (we all have our days!). They are responsive and caring with any questions or concerns that may arise. They update the app regularly so that we can see what is going on with the kiddos throughout the day. My oldest daughter recently graduated from their Pre-K program and we have to credit the amazing Miss Carly for how well she is now doing in kindergarten and how well prepared she was to start! Miss Carly always listened and was such a friendly face to start our morning with when we dropped our daughter off. She and my daughter formed such a great relationship and my daughter truly looked forward to being in her care every single day. We can't thank her enough for all of her hard work! My youngest daughter started with miss Jessica who is such a warm and inviting person. She was one of the first teachers we encountered at Lighthouse and I was so blown away by how much she cared for our daughter and how well she communicated with us parents. She truly cares about the kids and we were so lucky to start our Lighthouse journey with her! My daughter's current teachers are Miss Sabrina and Miss Ericka and they are both SO FANTASTIC! They have been so helpful in my daughter's current journey of potty training. They are so encouraging and responsive and my daughter loves them and talks about them every single night! We couldn't be more blessed with the amazing staff at Lighthouse!
