- SKShari KommNov 17, 20255.0I don't know if I can put into words how wonderful the people at Modell are but I will try. From pre-planning to final services they are top notch! Several years ago they guided me through purchasing a burial policy for my step dad. He was on a Medicaid spend down and they made sure to include everything that was allowable. Shortly after, I moved him out of state, and they helped me purchase an additional policy to cover his transportation back to IL. I was incredibly overwhelmed at the time and they were so helpful and knowledgeable. When he passed away, our local funeral home contacted Modell to begin making plans. I was connected with Chris and she became my main source of support for the duration. I was incredibly overwhelmed at the thought of being in GA and planning a funeral in IL and one conversation with her took it all away. We were able to plan everything through email. She listened and learned about who my step father was in his life and offered the most amazing details to his service without being asked. She dressed his casket in Harley insignia, wrote the most beautiful obituary, remembrance cards with his picture that I overlooked as an option, inquiring and planning motorcycle escorts to the cemetery,, helping me set up the day of his visitation .. the ways she made his celebration of life so personal are numerous and I can not thank her enough for being so caring and compassionate. She is truly remarkable! The facilities are very nice as well. A large lounge with several tables and chairs. There is a private fridge for your family and they offer coffee. Losing a loved one is so hard. The people at Modell take your burden and make it lighter. They genuinely care.

Christena and her associates guided us through the process of making all the necessary arrangements. When we experienced unexpected problems with the church services, they worked with us to arrange an alternative venue and made the necessary adjustments so my wife had the funeral she wanted. When we experienced any issues, the staff promptly responded and addressed them. Even after the funeral was behind us, they have continued to provide support and respond to our requests. They truely our customer focused.
