Sue and Rebecca, a mother-daughter team, created Family Picnic for parents prenatally and beyond. Supporting parents during pregnancy with Childbirth Education Classes, Breastfeeding Education and Birth Doulas; during infancy with New Mom and Partner Groups, Lactation support, and New Parenting classes; and continued support throughout the toddler years with Play Groups and Classes for Parents and their young child. We enjoyed our experience at Family Picnic with Rebecca! We learned so much about the birthing process and as first time parents it made us feel much for confident going into our final months of pregnancy.

A lovely community for new or expecting parents. They helped guide us through lots of different scenarios, even after the class had concluded.

At times, it can be difficult to share my thoughts, worries, and concerns as a father--especially when so many of my friends are child-free. Family Picnic gave me a space in which I could go in-depth with fellow dads (while spending time with my daughter!) in a way I rarely get to otherwise, and the moderator was great at keeping the convo flowing. I will absolutely be back.

We had a very good experience taking classes here. It is a nice space. The instructor was great and gave us a lot of useful tips for how be comfortable both before and during the pregnancy. Would highly recommend it. Wish there was another branch of this more closer to downtown. Our only gripe was the commute to this location from Oak Park.
