Anissa was incredibly kind, empathetic, and understanding from the moment I arrived. She took the time to listen to my concerns and provided thoughtful, informative answers about the options available. She made sure to help me find the best community that would suit my grandmother’s needs. I truly appreciated her willingness to help and the genuine care she showed. I highly recommend reaching out to Anissa if you’re looking for support in finding the right place for your loved ones!

Brookdale Lake View is a welcoming place that met what I was looking for in an Independent Senior Living community - a safe and vibrant neighborhood close to public transportation, shopping, restaurants, medical care, Lake Michigan, and downtown Chicago. It felt "homey" from the moment I walked in their front door for my first tour. I also wanted to be pro-active as I age and live in an "all-inclusive" apartment that has built-in socialization, complimentary transportation, and a wellness center vs. renting a regular apartment. I highly recommend choosing Brookdale Lake View as an option for retirement living that has an OUTSTANDING location in Chicago and a place where you feel welcomed and safe.

I was looking for apartment living that allowed me to remain independent but also included meals and housekeeping because I tend to be a little lazy, and who wouldn’t want their meals cooked for them? The neighborhood is great; it has everything I like, shopping is nearby, a beautiful park and lake at the end of the block where I walk my dog and I watch my nephews can come and play at the kids park. Everything is easy to get to, and I can take the CTA, the Brookdale Bus, or a cab/Lyft when I need it. There’s so many programs - art classes, musical programs, parties, games and my personal favorite: Happy Hour every Friday afternoon ! There’s so many things I like about this community - it’s so hard to list them all but what I love is that all my utilities/meals/services are included in one monthly bill making life easier and giving me more time and energy to pursue my interests and spend more time with my family. The employees are so friendly and helpful. I am happy I chose Brookdale Lake View as my new home and since moving here 2 years ago it has enriched my life, and I would highly recommend it to others!

She went above and beyond to ensure I had the best experience. The rest of the staff was great and the facility was beautiful. The location is just off the lake with plenty to do nearby. I highly recommend this place!
