At The Goddard School located in Buffalo Grove, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
We truly can’t say enough wonderful things about the teachers here. From the moment we first walked in, we felt welcomed and cared for. Every single teacher we’ve met has been so loving, patient, and kind, and it’s clear how much they genuinely care about the children.
A special thank you to Ms. Christina, Ms. Sravini, Ms. Hari Priya, Ms. Lupe, Ms. Bre, Mr. Nitin, Ms. Liza, and Ms. Hisako. Each of them has gone above and beyond in ways both big and small—whether it’s giving extra comfort on a tough morning, celebrating the little milestones, or noticing the tiny details that make such a difference in our son’s day. Christina and Sravini, in particular, have cared for him like he was their own. They’ve always looked out for him, picked up on his needs even before he could express them, and supported him in ways that helped him grow not just academically, but socially and emotionally too.
As parents, it means so much to know our child is surrounded by teachers who truly see him, nurture him, and want the best for him. We are beyond grateful for the love, attention, and encouragement he’s received here, and we feel incredibly lucky to be part of this community.

My daughter has been attending Goddard for the past three years, and we have had a wonderful experience here. Sadly, it is our time to leave, but I could not do so without sharing my experience here first. Everyone from Nitin, Liza, Vidya, Hisako, and all the rest of the staff we have encountered here have become second family to myself and my daughter. Because of the genuine love and care they provide here, they have helped mold my daughter into the confident, curious, and social child she is today. As a parent, knowing you are dropping your child off in a safe, nurturing, and reliable environment, gives such a great peace of mind. Goddard has given my kid a running start socially, academically and emotionally to kindergarten and beyond. We will miss you, Goddard!

Goddard school has been one of the best things that happened to us since we moved to Buffalo Grove. The teachers and staff really care for the kids and do their best to keep kids happy. The curriculum is also pretty good. It’s a great place for kids to learn, grow and enjoy including activities like music class (our kid is a fan), athletics class, bubble show, magic show, puppet show. Weekly calendar is full of fun and engaging activities.

My son has had such a wonderful experience at The Goddard School! Every day is an adventure—from bubble bashes and water days to puppet shows and magic performances, there’s always something fun and engaging happening. He comes home excited to tell me about his day, which speaks volumes.
I’m especially grateful to Mrs. Pat, Mrs. Tanu, and all the incredible teachers who have supported his learning and development. Mrs. Pat was a true comfort during his transition—she helped put my mind at ease right from the start. You can really feel that the entire school works as a team to create a warm, supportive, and nurturing environment.
And the little things matter too—like the warm smiles I get from the staff every time I drop off or pick up. There’s such a happy, vibrant energy throughout the building. A special shoutout to Mrs. Hisako, Mrs. Vidya, and Mrs. Liza—thank you for being such bright stars in our son’s day!
Highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a place where their child can grow, learn, and thrive with a truly caring team.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
