  The reason I give Caldwell 5 stars Is my brother died in Dec, I live in Colorado, he lived in Iowa, even though you expect it, you don't, I didn't know where to start and the owner of Caldwell Funeral Home and Cremation in Urbandale Iowa, took the reigns and did everything for me. He is one of the kindest, most empathetic gentlemen I've ever met, he did all that and hadn't it met me and then he mailed me my brother's ashes. I can't thank you enough John for everything you did for me, you definitely took the burden off my shoulders. I will be eternally grateful to John and his employees. Thank you so much.

  When my sister passed at 11:15 am, we hadn't even thought of a funeral home. All we knew was, she wanted to be cremated. We were referred to Caldwell. Everything happened so fast and we were sitting in front of Matthew at 2:30. He was/is observant of everyone in the party in the room and how they are 'processing' what is happening. He explained what all needed to be done legally and the who, what, where and how's. It was so helpful. They checked in with us every few days to let us know how things were progressing on their end and asked if we needed any help from them with our responsibilities. There really is so much a person needs to know and do after a loved one dies, having Caldwell navigate us through it was wonderful. They have BIG hearts and lots of knowledge. I recommend them!!!   Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home provided exceptional care and compassion during the loss of our dad. From our first interaction through the service itself, every detail was handled with professionalism, dignity, and genuine kindness. Matthew, Mark and John all took the time to listen, explain options clearly, and guide us through each step without ever making us feel rushed or overwhelmed. What stood out most was how personal the experience felt. They treated our loved one with great respect and treated our family with patience and understanding. The service was beautifully organized and allowed us to focus on honoring and remembering rather than worrying about logistics. We are deeply grateful for the support we received and would highly recommend Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home to any family seeking thoughtful, compassionate care in a time of loss.

  The staff At the Urbandale Caldwell Parrish Location was phenomenal. During a difficult time, they helped us do a proper service for my father and more specifically helped us do our Hindu traditions in an appropriate way.

  Caldwell Parrish funeral home & crematory was exceptional. This was a very difficult time for me to deal with, losing my mother. The first funeral home I was directed to made things even more difficult than I could have imagined. With the weight of planning a funeral without any previous experience, I knew that how things were going were not right and not okay. Although upon switching things over to Caldwell Parrish funeral home, working with Ali, she made it very easy and not only was she exceptional at what she’s does but she was also compassionate. Dealing with any death of a loved one can be overwhelming, but I would highly recommend this funeral home. I was treated with so much respect, kindness, and love and Ali was extremely helpful in all areas, she was my mind when I was trying to keep things together. Including all of their staff. They even checked in on me days and even weeks after the funeral. If you want to experience compassion, warmth, genuineness, and professionalism, this funeral home I recommend. They work with you and are quite affordable, and their location is beautiful and they were so insightful and helpful that my moms service was very very beautiful. I can’t thank them enough or praise them enough. As words cannot truly explain how great this funeral home was to me and to my family. Just exceptional, beyond words.
