- KMKris McCulloughJul 10, 20205.0I cannot say enough good things about Walnut Ridge. My Mom has lived there for six years, in both the independent and assisted living areas. She has made many great friends, started exercising daily, including swimming for the first time in her life. She attends fitness classes, chapel services and many social gatherings for residents and families. Walnut Ridge has made a big difference in our lives and in Mom's quality of life. Their handling of COVID19 has been stellar from day one. They took the right safety measures to mitigate the virus and communicated to residents and families along the way. They acted quickly and diligently to develop new ways to keep residents active and informed by providing fitness classes, chapel services, updates and fun and games on their TV's. Residents get frequent visits by staff to celebrate holidays, special days, or sometimes for no reason other than to share a smile and a treat. Photos are shared on the Walnut Ridge Facebook page for families to see. They took quick action to make changes in meals, mail delivery, grocery delivery, visitor procedures, etc. to protect everyone during COVID19. The entire staff at Walnut Ridge makes a difference every day and I am thankful that this is where my Mom gets to call home.
