At The Goddard School located in Marietta (West Cobb), we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
I adore this school for my toddler. He was at Primrose prior to this, but I always felt like Primrose charged for the brand and I didn’t feel like he was doing well there. This Goddard has been truly transformative for my son. He is extremely social and very curious and the curriculum for his class is perfect for him. Throughout the week, I can see him grasping and understanding concepts that I would not expect a three-year-old to understand and I think that’s in large part to Goddard. I adore his teachers, and I have never once been concerned about how they treat, talk to, or care for him. It’s been such a great experience.

They care for our child like she’s their own, and it shows. Our baby is excited to go every single day. The teachers are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in her. Plus, the consistency of the staff is such a rare and welcome bonus!

My child has been the Goddard School of West Cobb since he was 4 months old. He’s now heading into kindergarten, but we will miss our Goddard family. Though, it is not a perfect daycare because there is no such thing, I have truly appreciated the consistent care and attention we’ve received. The truly treat the children like their own.

We ♥️ love Goddard. Our daughter started her daycare journey at another school in the area and after a huge safety incident happened, I called Stephanie at Goddard and she quickly got us in for a tour. She acted as if our daughter was her own child and just got it. She’s now been there for 3 months and we’ve seen incredible cognitive development and she’s just SO happy. Georgia (her teacher) also takes care of her like her own and I’ve never felt more confident or comfortable in their care. 12/10 recommend!

We enrolled our 18 month old son at The Goddard School back in August and we have been beyond pleased thus far! The staff, teachers, and the experience as a whole has far exceeded our expectations and hopes!! We are so thankful to have our son enrolled in a program where we know he is not only well taken care of, but also stimulated and encouraged to learn and grow from the exceptional curriculum that Goddard provides. The atmosphere is very warm and comforting, and transparent as well. It isn't uncommon to see the owner or directors in the classroom either - which we love. They are as invested in our son's experience and education as his teachers, and the entire staff makes a point to be as hands-on as possible. We so enjoy being a part of this Goddard community and would HIGHLY recommend The Goddard School to anyone looking for early childhood care in West Cobb!

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
