At The Goddard School located in Dacula, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
Ms Mykia is a blessing to my son! She has taught him so much in the little time he has already spent with her. There is a lot of intention in the way she teaches and cares for her children in her class. Everyday I’m greeted with a smile from her and given a summary of his day without even asking.
Ms Annie just joined my son’s class and she is truly fantastic! The way she can capture the attention of a group of very young tiny humans, is quite impressive. I immediately texted my husband how great she already is!!
I am at ease knowing I can bring him to Goddard everyday and he be treated so well by his teachers and the admin staff!!!!

I have really enjoyed and appreciated everything my son has experienced while at Goddard. He started there at 6 months old and is now 3. Watching him grow and learn in such a great environment has meant a lot to this Dad!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our experience with this school has been deeply frustrating and honestly shocking.
We enrolled our 3-year-old son for two half-days a week starting in August (his first time in preschool), but Goddard pressured us into starting early in June. On just his second day, after only 2 hours, we were abruptly discharged from the school. Their excuse? A combination of being “short-staffed for summer” and “concerns for the safety of our child and others”—all due to them not having enough staff to watch the classroom doors. They even blamed our son for crying too much, which is completely normal behavior for a toddler new to school. Instead of supporting him with trained staff, they simply gave up on him.
We were told we’d be refunded in full for the remaining tuition and that our registration fee would be refunded as well, since the school discharged us (we never withdrew voluntarily). Yet three weeks later, we’re still chasing them down. They refunded the tuition but not the registration fee. Every time we follow up, it’s the same story: “we don’t know why,” “the finance department is having issues,” “it’s not my job.”
After multiple back-and-forths with Ms. Natalie, she passed us off to Ms. Michelle, another “Director” who was incredibly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. She offered no help, no communication, and no accountability. This is not how any school—especially one that claims to prioritize children’s development—should treat families.
It’s not about the $175 registration fee at this point. It’s about integrity, responsibility, and how a school handles its families and their trust. If they can’t even handle a simple refund or show basic empathy toward a toddler in his first school experience, how can you trust them with your child?
Parents—be very cautious. This location is disorganized, poorly managed, and lacking in care or communication. I’ve attached screenshots of my emails as proof. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere for a school that genuinely cares.

I had my child enrolled at this daycare for only three days, and that was more than enough to realize it was not a safe or professional environment. From the very beginning, I noticed how unorganized and understaffed the facility is. Children are constantly moved between different teachers, and there’s a serious lack of supervision and consistency in care.
As a mother is hurts and it’s so frustrating how places like this are opened for childcare.
On one occasion, I arrived during outdoor playtime and witnessed multiple classrooms outside with only a few teachers present. Several children were crying uncontrollably while the staff stood by on their phones, not comforting the kids or properly watching the others. It was extremely upsetting to witness, and I knew at that moment that my child would not be returning.
To make matters worse, I spoke with another parent who shared that her daughter had once been injured at the daycare, and when she asked what happened, no one could explain or show her anything. There are no cameras in the classrooms, which is highly concerning for a facility that’s supposed to be caring for young children.
This experience was completely unacceptable and frankly alarming. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. The lack of accountability, supervision, and basic care is more than enough to justify a formal complaint to the state.
