At The Goddard School located in Buford, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Ms. Nayleen. My daughter used to feel extremely anxious every morning before school, but Ms. Nayleen has truly transformed that experience for her. She has created a safe, fun, and comfortable environment where my daughter feels seen, supported, and excited to learn.
What stands out most is how thoughtfully she caters to each child’s individual needs. She pays close attention to where children struggle and works with them patiently to build confidence and improve their skills. My daughter was having difficulty identifying letters and blending sounds, and within just a week, Ms. Nayleen introduced her to a new learning technique that made everything click. We’ve seen tremendous growth—socially, personally, and academically.
We are so grateful for the care, dedication, and heart that Ms. Nayleen brings to her classroom every day. She has made such a positive impact on our daughter’s life, and we couldn’t ask for a better preschool teacher.

We joined the Goddard family in February of 2025 and it has been a fantastic experience. My 4 year old loves coming to school. In her own words she loves it because her teacher is caring and sweet; there is a lot of places to play safely and learning is fun. The staff is very professional. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to bring my little angel.

We enjoy getting to spend extra time with our Godard Family! They are well above your average daycare! Juliana is just two and she has been engaged in learning experiences from day one!

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
