At The Goddard School located in Atlanta (Buckhead), we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
Our daughter started at Goddard Buckhead at 6 months old. As first time parents, they went above-and-beyond to support us through such an emotional and scary transition. It started with the happy hellos from the office staff first thing in the morning. The frequent updates from both of her teachers as she settled into her new routine. The little notes, pictures and silly stories from her day that let me know they really KNEW our child. Over the last two years, the teachers and staff of Goddard Buckhead have shown our family the same level of love, community and 1:1 care that they did from day one. And she (and we) are thriving because of it.

We’ve been at The Goddard School Buckhead for about two months now, after relocating to the area, and we’re incredibly pleased with our experience here!
We moved from the Goddard Midtown location to this one and couldn’t have asked for a more dedicated educational team. The facilities, despite being situated in a business district, are excellent.
The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and patient. I can’t emphasize enough how much I appreciate their efforts to engage the children with meaningful tasks and expose them to a wide range of activities.

We could not be happier with our sons experience. He learns so much everyday (colors, counting, sign language, vocabulary, etc.) and he is not even two yet. He has made wonderful friends and enjoys his days here thoroughly as evident by the shared photos and videos. The teachers and the staff genuinely display that they care. We are happy to call Goddard home and will be sending our newest addition to the family here very soon!

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
