We interviewed at Goddard Crabapple late last year, and our son just started last month! The onboarding process was seamless and so smooth thanks to the director, Emily. She’s been so warm, prompt, and informative as we yave questions that pop up. No other daycare we toured came even close to the feeling we felt at Goddard Crabapple. Most importantly, I can’t say enough wonderful things about our sons teachers… Brooke, Jalyn, Jessica and Chrissy in the infant room have blown me away. Having a relationship with my sons teachers was something very important to me when touring schools. I wanted to be able to easily discuss how he was doing and how his days were. We feel so supported, cared for, and welcome everyday we enter the building. We stay very connected and well informed via the app. We’ve had very very some small issues come up as we’re getting used to things and I have felt comfortable going to the teachers directly with any concern or worry. The staff at Goddard have quickly become an extension of our family in just a few short weeks (and I joke with my husband that they’re all welcome at our house for Christmas dinner!) We’re looking forward to the rest of our experience in years to come at Goddard.

I am deeply disappointed with the communication at Goddard School Crabapple. Initially, they were responsive to my first three emails, which gave me hope. However, when I reached out in March to schedule a tour, the responsiveness vanished. Despite my efforts, I did not receive any response for three weeks. I sent a follow-up message on 4/8 and again on 4/29, only to be met with continued disregard. Finally, after much frustration, I secured a tour date for 5/31, but it was canceled at the last minute the day before at around 4:30 PM. When I inquired if someone else could conduct the tour, given that we urgently needed to make a decision, I was once again ignored. As of the end of the day on 6/5, I have yet to receive any response. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and has left me with a very negative impression of the school’s communication practices. Emily, who is responsible for tours, has been consistently unresponsive and unreliable. If this is how they treat potential parents, I dread to think how current parents might struggle to address any concerns. If you value prompt and honest communication, I strongly advise against considering this school. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for potential parents’ time and needs is truly disheartening.

we LOVE the Goddard School @ Crabapple. My daughter has been attending since she was just under a year old and we have had a great experience. The teachers truly care about my child and the owner Debbie has been wonderful to us.

The only thing going for the school is location and a few and I have to say very few good teachers, we had the the misfortune of having to go here for about 8 months and hated the experience we and our toddler had.You will especially hate it if you have to leave your loved one all day long, the caregivers who fill in the senior teachers after 2 are absolutely abysmal. And they never last more than a few weeks. The absolute worst thing about the school though is having to deal with the owner of the school, who I have to say, to put it mildly is difficult to have a commonsensical conversation with, I have heard pearls of wisdom like, "Kids bully kids, that's what they do", "Montessori schools are for special needs". There is not much room for kids to move about in the cramped rooms, and the classes could you use a bit more natural light and cleaning.Their play area I feel is a bit too accessible from the road, and the caregivers are mostly on their smart phones when the kids are in the yard.
