Most of the people in the vicinity are affluent and the property itself sits right on the water of Tampa Bay so everyone's always getting that healing sea air. The staff here is amazing and they really care about my aunt who's been staying here for a few months now. They even walk her dog for her when she needs a little bit of extra help. A person can tailor how much assistance they need to suit their needs. Highly recommended if you or someone you love needs a little bit of extra help at this phase in their life.
- SHSondra HorstMay 6, 20195.0Brookdale Bayshore is a beautiful community for seniors right on Tampa Bay and I am so glad my grandmother chose to live here. We recently moved her in and she is loving her daily walks on Bayshore Boulevard, her waterfront apartment and views of the city. The staff are friendly and make each interaction so personal as they assist the residents. After visiting for a few hours, we truly felt like family here. The food is very good and you can order a la carte. The head chef even came out of the kitchen on our visit and engaged with those in the dining room. We also witnessed a group tour returning from an excursion where the staff had packed lunch and taken residents on a mystery tour of Tampa. Everyone was so happy and looking forward to the next outing. The staff took extra care to link my grandmother up with other residents that shared similar interests and ensure she settled into her new apartment. Even one of my grandmother’s friends has followed her here. My extended family enjoys visiting my Grams here and she loves her new lifestyle!
