- SHSondra HorstMay 6, 20195.0Brookdale Bayshore is a beautiful community for seniors right on Tampa Bay and I am so glad my grandmother chose to live here. We recently moved her in and she is loving her daily walks on Bayshore Boulevard, her waterfront apartment and views of the city. The staff are friendly and make each interaction so personal as they assist the residents. After visiting for a few hours, we truly felt like family here. The food is very good and you can order a la carte. The head chef even came out of the kitchen on our visit and engaged with those in the dining room. We also witnessed a group tour returning from an excursion where the staff had packed lunch and taken residents on a mystery tour of Tampa. Everyone was so happy and looking forward to the next outing. The staff took extra care to link my grandmother up with other residents that shared similar interests and ensure she settled into her new apartment. Even one of my grandmother’s friends has followed her here. My extended family enjoys visiting my Grams here and she loves her new lifestyle!
