At The Goddard School located in Riverview, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
Our daughter has been at The Goddard School in Riverview since she was 3 months old and is now 6 months, and we couldn’t be happier. She’s in the Hedgehog classroom, and Miss Grace, her lead teacher, is absolutely wonderful. Phoebe is always so well cared for and comes home clean, happy, and thriving. She’s been hitting her milestones beautifully, and it’s clear she’s in a loving, nurturing environment.
We’ve recently started receiving photos of their daily activities, which has been such a sweet way to stay connected throughout the day. The staff is always communicative and keeps us informed about how she’s doing. As first-time parents, it brings us so much peace of mind knowing she’s in such good hands. We truly appreciate everything Miss Grace and the Goddard team do for our little one!

Ms. Grace is absolutely wonderful! She leads the babies’ (1 and under) class and does such an amazing job. My little one always comes home happy, clean, and in a great mood, which makes me feel so reassured. It’s clear she really cares about the kids and gives them great attention and care.
The school itself is clean, nice, and well taken care of, but Ms. Grace is definitely a standout. I completely trust her and really appreciate the love and effort she puts into her work.

The Goddard School has been such a wonderful part of our family’s journey. Every teacher has shown genuine love, care, and attention, creating a safe, happy, and inspiring place to learn. The school is always clean, organized, and full of creativity. Special thanks to Miss Dawn, Miss Tatiana, and Miss Amy — our forever favorites — and to Leslie, Tasha, and Patty for their incredible support. We’re truly grateful knowing our child is in the best hands every day.

Suppose it’s about time I left a review since our daughter has been attending the Goddard School in Triple Creek since, well, forever!
From the first visit, which was very convenient since we live in the neighborhood, every person we interacted with was so nice and engaging. As a dual working household, and a wife that stayed home with our girl for the first two years, we were like silent food critics looking for any abnormality that would turn us off. Not to be found.
2 + years later we know now this was the best decision. There is a recognition that the teachers and staff here are molding our daughter in accordance with our principles as parents. They are communicative, loving, and treat our girl as if she was a part of their family.
As an example, as a military guy, I was deployed for 3 months and naturally one day our daughter got sick. The office manager, Leslie, called my wife to tell her, and my wife was freaking out because she couldn’t leave her job. Leslie reassured her that they would care for our daughter away from the other kids until whatever time she could make it. That passion and lovingness has been a trademark of the staff every day we drop her off.
To the education… our daughter is thriving. Every day there is a new idea learned, an awesome painting, a different language, a more robust vocabulary… the list goes on.
Lastly, we have leveraged their awesome teachers to watch our girl when we want to do a date night. She loves all of them so much, so it’s a seamless transition and our daughter feels so comfortable.
Can’t say enough about the staff and ownership, we love them and they show the love back.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
