My mother is a resident and we have been very pleased with this location. They have some amazing staff. Everyone is friendly, and helpful. If you are want the best, you will have to speak to Athena in admissions, she is truly a treat! Her endless kindness and is refreshing. I am so thankful that my mother is able to call this place home and we can feel comfortable knowing she is safe and happy.
*update: prices increase dramatically every year at an unsustainable rate. Money is the primary focus, residents come in distant second to that. They have trouble retaining help. It’s unfortunate because the residents there deserve more and it was so nice, but corporate greed takes away from the other highlights.

The facility looks nice but the food in the dining room is awful. We visited a family memeber and had lunch at the facility. The chef salad was good, but the kielbasa was $16 small, cut in half served on a plate with nothing else. If we could have ordered more and the total charge was $16, no one told us. The open face tuna melt was awful and not even appealing to look at when served, not ro mention the sloppy joe almost had meat on the bun. The french fries were good. Our meals cost $80 cash only, there was no sign stating cash only and we did not get a receipt. Next time, even if it is difficult ro transport my aunt, we will eat away from this place. My father is in a brookdale community and we enjoy eating with him at the facility because the food is great and reasonably priced $8 for a delicious ruben. You might want to check with Bradenton and take a food lesson.

My mother lived at Pinecastle for a few years before she passed away. The Director Tim Smith has improved all aspects of the facility and is extremely professional and caring. The dining room has improved and the food is great, but more important the incredible staff in the dining room is amazing working with the aging community. My mother made close friends and had a quality of life at 96, I can only hope for. The facility's cleanliness improved under this director and housekeeping did a good job. Thank you Tim Smith and staff for giving my mother such a wounderful quality of life in the winter of her life.
