For the price at Brookdale, it is affordable, the staff is very friendly, management is around and seen visiting with residents during meal times. Brookdale has some personal services on site. They have transportation to a few places like Walmart. They have a full calendar of activities including Happy Hours to try and get people out of their rooms to be engaged with other residents. Not all seniors planned for this type of living situation when they were younger. Therefore many have a limited fixed income that they have to work with. We are pleased with the decision to have one parent reside here and are currently trying to get another parent moved in as well.
