- HPHarry PatankarNov 22, 20231.0Booked this daycare for three days through Bright Horizons for my three year old, as I was visiting from another state. On the last day when I went to pick up my kid, the assistant director asked me to wait saying they need to speak with director as they need to check if any other last day formalities had to be done. This was a bit surprising as all paperwork was done and everything was paid for. We were waiting there for 30 minutes and the kids were getting restless and hungry. The assistant director was actually lying about calling the director as the assistant director had actually called the cops on me. Those geniuses at the daycare thought I was drunk. Which was surprising as I was having a proper conversation and walking around normally for 30 minutes. Considering the fact that I never drink alcohol, I was surprised when the cop mention that he was called because the assistant director thought I was drunk. The cop determined in less than 5 seconds the I was not drunk and we were on our way. My kid was not only hungry when we were detained by the assistant director against our will, but he was traumatised to see the cops take his father away. When the cop cleared us to go that assistant director just stood there dumbfounded, absolutely no apologies offered. Wonder if the assistant director treated me this way due to my national origin or the colour of my skin? I would not recommend this daycare to anyone.
