The Brooks Brain Injury Clubhouse is a not-for-profit day program that provides volunteer opportunities, vocational training and socialization for people in the community with a brain injury.
I am friends with an attendee of Brooks Rehab Brain Injury Clubhouse. I am so impressed with the activities they do with the attendees: karaoke and other music activities, bingo, crafts, wonderful field trips. The staff show genuine affection and are so respectful and compassionate. Last year, I won a beautiful tie-dye quilt that the attendees/patients made.

I’ve had the utmost pleasure to host multiple performances at Brooks Clubhouse. The members are so inviting and their participation is incredible. The staff does a superb job in assisting and making sure all the needs of each of the members are met. The director, Kathy, plays an integral part in making sure everything runs smoothly and that the creative and developmental goals for each of the members is met. Truly a magical place for those with traumatic brain injuries.

The Clubhouse gives people after Brain Injury a place to develop skills, build a supportive community, be part of a team that helps themselves and others, and tap into their creativity. It’s the only program of its kind in the state of Florida!
