- AMAnne MurphyOct 22, 20245.0Wonderfully staffed. Everyone is courteous and helpful. From housekeepers to dining room, residents are well taken care of. I’m the spouse of a resident and am in and out of here a lot so I observe what’s going on. I give this 10 stars. Anne Murphy Tom Murphy, Rm 113 PS…,In dealing with our insurance company Ms Ellen Brown could not have been more helpful. It was a very stressful time but with her knowledge and compassion it was a breeze.
- RTRob TaftOct 21, 20245.0My Mom is a new resident at Bartrum Lakes in Jacksonville. I have been very pleased with the service she has been provided. Overall the facility is clean and bright and the support from the front desk and the rest of the admin staff has been first rate. I had initially placed her at a facility in St Augustine and in hindsight I wish I had chosen Brooks in the first place. As with every new place of this type there are teething problems but when brought to the staff they have been addressed in a timely manner. Another plus is the Lakes home is located in the same building as the Brooks rehabilitation facility so if something serious happens that their on site nursing staff can't handle, additional medical help is close by.

The entire staff is kind, caring, professional and goes above and beyond to care for residents, as well as their families. There are activities and supervised outings. Snacks and drinks are always available. I feel relieved knowing my loved one is safe and his physical and medical needs are managed.

She has a true caring heart, the warmth to the people in the facilities can’t help but shine through, they all love her. The two Front Desk people I deal with, Janet and the weekend receptionist are beautiful spirits as well, love them both. If you’re considering putting your loved one here, you will definitely get service after the sale. What they tell you upfront will be what you get, it’s as advertised. You don’t get to say that much anymore in life.
