Even simple topics or issues would turn into bitter arguments, leading to heavy resentments. Dr. Kane worked with us on learning to slow down, hit the pause button and make space for emotional safety and hearing one another out without jumping to defend ourselves. He patiently validated and normalized the things we were going through and worked on giving us the tools to navigate conversations regardless of the content. Yes. The therapeutic experience is most effective when you are able to feel comfortable and connect with your therapist. So, we will gladly make adjustments to ensure that you are happy.
