Review for Childcare Network on Brookmeade I’m writing this review with a very heavy heart and a deep sense of concern for any parent considering Childcare Network on Brookmeade. My 11-month-old child had been attending this daycare and, up until recently, we had no major issues. However, everything changed when I received a phone call notifying me that my baby had sustained a large bump on his head—a call that came six hours after the incident had occurred. What’s even more alarming is that no one can tell me what happened. There is no camera footage available, and no clear explanation has been provided. I’ve been met with silence, vague responses, and no sense of urgency or responsibility. It feels as though this situation is being brushed under the rug rather than investigated seriously. I’ve tried to get answers, but I have been left in the dark. The staff have offered no real support or accountability. There was one adult at the time of the incident, and yet I have not seen any action taken to investigate her role to ensure this doesn’t happen to another child. This is not just a bump or an accident—it’s a violation of trust. As parents, we leave our babies in the care of professionals expecting them to be safe, protected, and treated with love. My baby was hurt, and I wasn’t even told until hours later. That’s unacceptable. I’m sharing this because I want parents to be aware. Please, do your research and ask the hard questions. No parent should have to experience this type of fear, frustration, and helplessness. I am calling for those responsible to be held accountable. This cannot and should not be ignored.

My personal experience at this location was not good at all. As someone moving from out of state they were not clear on what was needed and they are not very helpful. Amongst other things It almost seems as if they didn’t want my son to attend their facility. This is my personal experience. Hopefully the next has a better experience than I Did.

PLEASE READ FULL REVIEW: I have to say, I loved ALL the ladies that are there in the early morning. There are like 3 Hispanic ladies who all wear crocs (i loved that lol!) my son ADORED ALL of them, as well as his teacher, Ms. Josephine ❤️ Also the younger black lady with the beautiful locs in her hair. I loved ALL of those ladies. Super helpful and the most beautiful women! Now.. my first day that I TOURED the place, there's a room right across from my sons old room, and there was a white woman, a little heavier, and black hair. I do not know her name or I would say it, but she was yelling at a child who was crying. I looked at the other kids and all of them were squished, sitting together on a carpet, and there were other children crying and who looked UPSET. I was so pissed to see how these teachers were treating these students. This was NOT positive guidance, NOR positive reinforcement. I should have immediately, not put my child there, because not even a month or so later, I was coming to pick my son up before they laid the kids down. And I walk in to my sons other teacher (NOT MS. JOSEPHINE) yelling at him to lay down. My son is 2.5. There was NO reason for her behavior torwards him. Thankfully that week was his last week there, but i would advise you guys look at the other classrooms and check how they trust all ages, because that was not okay.

We have loved our time at Childcare Network, Brookemeade location. Both of my kids were taken care of and loved their teachers. The director, Kelly, goes above and beyond for the parents and children. I would recommend this location to anyone.

My daughter has been going to childcare network for a year now and she loves it. I myself love the center and the teachers that are educating my baby. I feel very comfortable leaving my daughter here on a daily basis. The staff is very helpful and understanding. If I were to recommend a daycare to any parent I would say take them to childcare network. You and your child will be glad that you did. Cheryl McRae
