Our 18-month-old has been at Goddard now for four months, and we couldn’t be happier. The transition from his old daycare was a bit hard at first, but the wonderful teachers helped him adjust quickly. Now he runs into class every morning with a big smile! We’ve seen incredible growth in him since starting here — socially, emotionally, and developmentally. It’s clear he’s in a caring, nurturing environment.

Goddard is amazing! I wish we got off the waitlist sooner!! The teachers and administrators are so kind and truly love all these kiddos! They accommodate and support all learning styles to ensure every child succeeds and is most of all happy coming to school everyday. The teachers will go out of their way to meet your child where they are developing and the progress you will see in such a short time period will only make you realize you are doing the best thing for your child! The administrators do not miss a beat when it comes to your child’s success and this level of attention to detail is truly incredible. Do not take shortcuts when it comes to investing in your child’s education from an early age! This is such crucial time you cannot get back for these little learners! And the best bonus is your child will come home so happy about their day and excited to go back the next!

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
