At The Goddard School located in Littleton (Ken Caryl), we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
Both of my children attend this preschool, and I also have the privilege of working here—so I get to see the school from both a parent’s perspective and an insider’s view. It has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our family.
As a parent, I’ve watched my kids grow emotionally, socially, and academically in ways that genuinely impress me. They come home excited to share what they learned, the friends they made, and the little moments that meant something to them. The teachers truly know the children—what motivates them, what comforts them, and how to bring out their strengths.
One of the things that stands out most is the staff’s longevity. Many of the teachers have been here for decades, which speaks volumes about the school’s culture. That kind of consistency creates stability, trust, and a warm, family-like environment that kids genuinely thrive in.
Behind the scenes, I see how much intentional care goes into everything. The administration is incredibly supportive of their teachers, providing guidance, encouragement, and the resources needed to bring out the best in each classroom. It’s a collaborative, respectful environment where educators feel valued—and that absolutely shows in the quality of care the children receive.
Cleanliness and safety are also clearly top priorities. The classrooms and common areas are consistently well-maintained, organized, and cared for in a way that supports both learning and well-being.
I feel grateful every day that my children are part of such a nurturing, high-quality community, and I’m proud to play a role in the work we do. I wholeheartedly recommend this preschool to any family looking for a loving, stable, and truly exceptional early education experience.

We've loved all our child's teachers. The front office staff are really involved and know every kid's name. Safe and age appropriate outdoor playground. The curriculum is neat and we're so excited to see what they are learning each day even at a young age.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
