At The Goddard School located in Arvada (Ward Road), we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
We HIGHLY recommend The Goddard School to everyone!! Friends and family are probably tired of hearing about how much we love it! The teachers are all wonderful, caring, competent and truly seem to love their jobs. The owner Dan and his family are incredibly friendly and honest. We have always felt that our kids were safe, cared for and learning tons here. We still have one child at the school but our older child recently graduated and is in kindergarten this year. She was very well prepared for kindergarten thanks to The Goddard School. We have met so many wonderful families and made lots of friends here. We are so thankful we chose The Goddard School for our family. We will be sad when it's time to move on!

We have loved our time with Goddard School Arvada (Ward Road). The teachers here are just so incredible and create a memorable learning environment for the kids. There is little staffing turnover and everyone seems supported by each other and school leadership. I hate leaving my kiddos everyday, but I'm so glad they are truly thriving here.

When I was pregnant, our tour took place on the first day of operations for Goddard at Ward Road - so we like to think we've seen this school grow from its infancy! Our son started daycare in the infant classroom one year later. We've seen Dan and his team grow the school to reflect our community in Arvada, with thoughtful touches that make it seem less like a franchise and more like our local school, including our beloved Parents Night Out events! The staff and operations have always been stellar - with one minor exception that Dan and his team navigated quickly and professionally after we provided feedback. We will certainly miss the teachers and leadership at our son's first "school" and we know he's well-prepared (perhaps even better prepared than most students from other programs!) to begin PreK in our public school system.

We seriously LOVE The Goddard School! Both of our kids have gone here since they first opened and we couldn’t be happier. Dan (the owner) is amazing, he truly cares about the kids and families, and every single teacher and admin is just as wonderful. They’ve created such a safe, fun, and loving place for our kids to learn and grow. We feel so lucky to be part of this school family. Highly, highly recommend… you won’t find a better daycare in the area!

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
