  "Im looking to move. I've had three years of issues with maintenance ever since my first say. The blinds didn't work. I was told that I'll get new blinds. It took 18 months to get my new blinds. There were paint tape out around my outside living room window. The maintenance guy didn't know how to get the window screen out. He left saying that the wind will blow the tape off. Two months later some maintenance person moved my furniture away and got the tape removed as was not there when they did it. I got in my furniture was moved but I had to move the furniture myself. My airconditioner went out and the maintenance guy didnt no how to fix it. He left and told it will cool down at night. I sweat for hours and was about to go to the hospital when a tech should up and offer a portable air conditioner. I was hot for 10 hours. I got upset and the Maintenance Director was upset as I used swear words. He said that I was offered several times to accept a portable air-conditioner. I WAS NEVER OFFERED A PORTABLE AIR CONDITIONER!!! I also had a large package stolen after my from my apartment door. The police said I was specifically targeted and that it was an "inside job". The acting director and the maintenance person was told that they would look in to it. They never did. I was called at 1:00AM, 6:43AM, 7:42AM, and at 8:00AM. I didnt answer as I have Global aphasia and it's impossible for me to talk on the phone. The voicemail was a man person called me and said my gray cat was wandering the building. I dont have a gray cat. We have had three Ex Directors and an acting Director Ex over two and a half years I have global aphasia and I cant deal with the maintenance people.

  After 71 years of marriage my husband passed away. I found myself alone. When visiting Brookdale Meridian Arvada everyone was smiling and so friendly. I decided to move to this community after living with my daughter. I want you to understand just how alone I felt the first few nights I moved here.I had never been alone my entire life and it was scary. Now I have friends, I play games, I don’t have to cook any more but most of all I don’t feel alone. It is such a profound feeling to call Brookdale Meridian Arvada my home.

  My uncle loves living here. We go visit him and eat together with our family in the private dining room, it’s very nice, and the food is great! The people who work there are awesome! They help my uncle when he needs a ride to the doctor or to get his groceries. He has a nice apartment and his dog can live there with him.
