- LSLew Wright, Sr.Jul 8, 20255.0After touring many of the South Bay senior living facilities, we settled on Brookdale for a number of reasons. The primary asset of Brookdale is the staff. Friendly, helpful and professional, they are the best! My mom has been here for three months and seems to enjoy the community more and more with each passing day. Because it’s independent living, the residents are in pretty good health and enjoy each others company. Assistance is available if needed. The food is quite good. Mom actually looks forward to meals. All the staff in the dining room greet her by name. And activities? There are plenty of things to do each and every day. Lots of music events, history meetings, gaming and numerous Happy Hours. If there is anything mom needs help with, someone is there to assist. They are extremely attentive. Brookdale is a wonderful community!

I know that my parents are in good hands living there. My parents say its like being a cruise. The food is cooked in the kitchen on site, as opposed to being shipped in and reheated! Remember you get what you pay for!!! Update; after 3 years my dad is happier than ever. The staff is attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. Thank you Brookdale!!!!
