  No one is ever fully prepared to navigate death and all that happens after your loved one passes. Even if you think you are ready or prepared, there is so much the average person doesn’t know about next steps. I was beyond grateful for Tori - the support and kindness she extended to me as I was trying to figure things out, was incredible! She put in extra time and effort to assist me and my sister. Her knowledge, understanding, and patience for families that are struggling with this process gave me peace and comfort in knowing everything would work out…and it did. She was amazing and I am so thankful.

  I highly recommend Tori with Grissoms Mortuary. She was kind, professional and very patient. The mortuary did a wonderful job on my loved one. He looked so handsome and happy, which made me feel better seeing how peaceful he looked. Thank you to everyone at Grissom's Chapel and Mortuary for everything. PS, it's very clean and they have the best chocolate covered peppermints.

  The day we went to make the plans, things went ok. My first red flag should've been when I noticed that although they were having a service, the air was off and we had to complain for them to turn it on. To keep this short and simple, I was not informed of anything once I singed the contract. They violated my privacy when it came to finances by discussing confidential matters to a family member due to the nature of their relationship. nstead of running by me who would be hired the day of the service, nothing was ever discussed with me, although I asked many times. Instead, decisions were made with that same family member. Who had no authority. Sufficient seats were not available in the front row. And when asked to add them, it was a firm no. But nothing like the conclusion of the service where I was left of out as the person thanking for everyone's attendance. I am the next of kin and was very unprofessionally disrespected and made to look ridiculous, when already mourning my mom who passed unexpectedly. I didn't even mention the toothless organ player they had. SMH This is a very delicate time & grace was not close to their behavior. Think about this place twice, three times over. How would you feel if this was you. OH... prices are in my opinion higher than others.
