At The Goddard School located in San Clemente, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
My daughter has been attending The Goddard School since she was one year old, and we’ve had such a wonderful experience. All of the teachers and staff know her by name and treat her with so much kindness and love. They’ve cared for her since she was in diapers to now being officially potty trained, and it’s been amazing to watch her grow and learn so much along the way. She truly enjoys going to school every day.
Anu is always responsive and follows up right away whenever I have a question or concern, which gives me great peace of mind as a parent. I’m so grateful for the care, communication, and sense of community this school provides.

My son has been at Goddard almost a full year. He has Ms. Yesenia as his teacher who has fostered a great community with our little group. My son has become a social butterfly with his friends and is learning so much at just 22 months. They know how to handle any big feelings he may have and he always surprises me with new stuff he learned at school. Any concerns I had about daycare going into it, I no longer have. Goddard was the best decision I could have made. I’m forever thankful to his teachers, administration, and owner Anu- who he may love almost as much as his momma :).

We have been going to the Goddard school since our son was four months old and have felt he was in the best of hands through each stage and classroom. He does arts & crafts each day, plays outside, and comes home with new dance moves and words daily.
The smiles he receives from Ms Yesenia, Ms Bertha and Ms Sarahi me us feel incredibly comforted dropping him off in the morning and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to select Goddard!

Ownership is invested in children and families at Goddard. The facility is cleaned every day and is safe. The curriculum is good. All Early Education goes through challenges since it is a difficult business to operate and we have experienced alternative schools in the past. We came to Goddard because of the key items listed above which I believe has allowed the school to prosper.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.

To ensure the health and safety of everyone, if an outbreak occurs and a child has not been vaccinated, they will be asked to stay at home.
